My
name is Louis Comeau. I was born in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada. I
then moved to Timmins, Ontario, where I spent most of my childhood. The
next move was to Barrie, Ontario where I spent a few years only to move
again, this time to Prescott, Ontario. This is where I went to
highschool. After an unfulfilling high school experience I decided to
go to Summit College. Going to Bible college was the greatest
experience of my life. After college I went to China with two of my
best friends, Adam & Kevin, and I taught English to kids for a
whole year. A year passed and I made the decision to return to Canada.
I worked a few jobs and then ended up at a Christian camp. I'm now a graphic designer, program coordinator, sound technician, and webmaster for Camp des Bouleaux. I'm also the co-coordinator and marketing director for the Bouleaux Snowpark, which is now approaching its second season.
Music has
been a very important part of my life for many years. My first
introduction was piano lessons at a young age. I later played the
trumpet followed by bass guitar in the school band. I began playing
guitar in high school, focusing primarily on the electric guitar. When
I started college I began to fall in love with the acoustic guitar.
I've been writing songs now and then for the past couple years, and
this year I finally started recording and polishing up my songs. I also produce electronic music under the Palais D'Or alias.
My
music, as well as my photos, depict my journey through this life. I
hope you enjoy my work which has only been possible because of the
gifts God has given me. |
